Dr. Anthony Strong joins Compass Municipal Advisors as Vice President of marketing and business development.
Dr. Strong served 28 years in public education, 14 of those years as a Kentucky School Superintendent, serving both Pendleton and Campbell County School Districts. He served as President of the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents in 2010 and was elected President for the Council of Better Education in 2012, where he served until his retirement in June 2018. Dr. Strong also served as a board member of the Kentucky Association of School Administrators. During his tenure as Superintendent, he received numerous awards and recognitions from educational organizations across the region and state. Most recently, Dr. Strong was a finalist for both the Kentucky Association of School Administrators and the Kentucky School Board Association Superintendent of the Year Awards.
Dr. Strong has, and continues to, mentor new Superintendents across the state. During his 14 years as Superintendent, he was involved in the construction, renovation and planning of numerous facility projects. Additionally, in his experience as a former Mayor Pro-Tem and City Councilperson in Falmouth, KY, Dr. Strong worked with local governments in planning and implementing numerous public projects.
